Availability Entering and Registration Procedures
Please see the following instructions to enter availability and register with the managing rugby organizations.
First, we will instruct you on the EPRRS Availability. We told everyone it was available, but left the instructions out. Here is the link to the article on our site (http://eastpennrugby.org/index.php/home/blog/89-how-to-submit-your-availability).
The first field in the Availability now is for all Referees to inform us if you intend to referee USA Rugby matches and/or National Collegiate Rugby matches. We do not want to assign folks to matches they are not willing to referee or have not properly registered to referee. As a perfect segue, below are the instructions to register with both (we have verified that both processes are correct).
USA Rugby Registration
Below are the steps to register for USA Rugby as a member of the EPRRS. It is important to note that if you are dual registering as a member of a Club, Collegiate, or HS side in any role, go to this page (https://internal.usarugby.org/membership-resources/faqs/), find the video entitled “Member with Multiple Clubs” and complete those steps after Registering as an EPRRS Referee.
Step 1. Complete the USA Member Section as shown below:
- Search by Type = Referee
- Search by Region = East Penn Rugby Referee Society
Step 2. Click the Register button in the EPRRS box showing in the Club Listing section.
Step 3. Select Referee and Click Register.
Step 4. Sign Up or Log In to Sportslomo based on whether or not you had registered in 2020.
Step 5. Once in Sportslomo, click the Register/Renew button.
Step 6. Click Continue under the $65 Referee fee.
Step 7. Select your name from the drop down and click Continue.
Step 8. Complete the missing fields (order is odd), Attest to and Sign both Waivers, type the name you signed in the Signature box, and click Register.
Step 9. Enter your payment details and click Continue.
Step 10: Click Make Payment.
Step 11: On the Payment Success Screen, you may see additional Accreditation Steps at the bottom – please complete those by clicking on your name/Apply Here – start with SafeSport.
NCR Registration
Below are the steps to register for NCR as a member of the EPRRS.
Step 1. Go to the following link:
https://memberships.sportsengine.com/org/ncr-referee-society/affiliation/ncr-eprrs-referee-society
Step 2. Enter your email address and click Next.
a. If you don’t have a SportsEngine account, your screen will take you to a sign up where you enter your details and you will then receive a verification email to continue.
b. If you do have a SportsEngine account, enter your password and then move to the next screen.
Step 3. On the NCR EPRRS Referee Society page, click on Get Membership.
Step 4. Select your name on the following page.
Step 5. Complete your information on the Member information page and click Next when complete.
Step 6. Click Next through the next page.
Step 7. Complete the Diversity page and click Next.
Step 8. Read and attest to the Waiver pages and click Submit.
9. You should see a $0 balance on the Review page. Click Continue to Payment.
